Sin Sisamouth – ស៊ីន ស៊ីសាមុត

Sin Sisamouth was a Cambodian superstar, a prolific songwriter and recording artist in the years before his disappearance during the Pol Pot period.
He was heavily influenced by European and American (north and south) music, fusing them with traditional Khmer singing styles to produce a unique genre which remains popular today.

Two of his most loved songs are O Battambang and Champey Siem Reap, recordings of which have been found, although the original masters of his music were destroyed.
